1. Location - If you’re looking for somewhere with peace and quiet but still accessible to the Fisherman’s village, this is the right place for you. It’s just over 30min walk to FV but you can get a grab taxi to be quicker. To us wanting a relaxing time, mae nam beach was enough. Most shops were also within a 10min walk from the property. Found a nail salon, laundry, restaurants, and a small shop just by the main road. 2. Room - I must recommend the Ocean view room if you’re looking for overlooking views of the sunset and the seas. The room even comes with a jacuzzi in its balcony. Compared to our other hotel in chaweng, this room was fancy for its price (actually cheaper by £20) for the same period of stay. Well-maintained so you can’t really tell that the property is dated. The only downside is you’ll have to climb steep steps to get to this room, a price we were willing to pay for the amazing view. But they have a hotel buggy that can take you up anywhere in the property. 3. Customer service - they wouldn’t call this the land of smiles if not for the excellent hospitality of the locals and staff alike. They’ve been extra helpful all throughout! 4. Food - great choices of breakfast. Thai food for dinner has been excellent! 5. Price - defo get your money’s worth!

The Fair House Villas and Spa, Koh Samui is a fantastic abode. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the environment well maintained. The food was very nice, especially the breakfast. Our pool villa was fantastic. The hotel is at Mae Naem, and as such off the main Bo Phut road and away from the noise of traffic. However, for visitors with young children that may prove challenging if one wants to stay late in the night Fishmans market, a sort of bazaar, a Mecca for tourists were one can find all kind of artifacts, restaurant providing foreign and local food, clothing, foreign exchange stalls, shops to book activities like snorkelling, jet ski, watching, fruits stalls, etc. From the Fisherman's village market to Fair house is approximately 40 minutes walk for an adult. That may be hard for kids to do for many days, especially as one off the Bo Phut main road the road is narrow and not super safe with traffic. But security wise it was nice. We walked every day and returned at 10:00 or 11:00pm at night with no issues. Taxis are also available, for around 300 Baht ($10) to and fro. The airport shuttle was 600 Baht and took us less than 25 minutes to arrive at the hotel. Overall, the Fair house, is a clean and safe hotel, with courteous staff and a good location.

It was an amazing experience. The hotel is clean and very beatiful. The beach is nice and tidy. The food was good, both for breakfast and dinner. And there was live music at the restaurant. We had a room with ocean view sitting atop a small hill. Seeing the sunset from our room was awe inspiring. You can rent kayaks and sups for free. Especially the staff is so nice and friendly. They are always helpful and have a smile on their face and make you feel very welcome. When we arrived we were greeted by tee. He was our first impression and he immidiatly showed the good spirit within the hotel. We can recommend the food market tour where you will find lots of local food. After booking they take you there, show you the market and recommend different foods according to your taste. As the staff knows the place they will also tell you what can be eaten without fear of a stomach ache for our european taste. We went with Raju, Yo, Nat and Zac and it was such a nice experience. The staff at the lobby was also always helpful. They helped us book different tours and the ferries to different islands. Overall i can only say that this is how a hotel should be, which is why i would always give them 5 stars. Next time we visit Thailand we will make sure to come here again.

It is a perfect place for relaxing and to enjoy nature. The view was breathtaking, and the forest around the villas was amazing, and they took very good care of it to keep it clean. We booked the Ocean Suit , Room was spacious and had all what we needed and the balcony was very nice with jacuzzi and 2 sunbeds. Breakfast options were a bit limited specifically for people from the Middle East and Gulf Region. Staff were amazing and very welcoming, responsive, and helpful. You'd need to have transportation as the hotel is not close to any of the main attractions as a walking distance. Overall, it is very recommended please if you're seeking a place to relax and have a quiet vacation.

Chaza

The resort was beautiful and definitely one of Samui's little hidden gems. The grounds are very well kept and the staff are very attentive. The food from the restaurant was cooked to a very good quality, with a good selection of foods available from the breakfast buffet. There was enough food to cater for all tastes and appetites. The big question..."Would we go back?" Well that would have be a big 1000% YES!!!!
